We do not deliver services directly but through aid agencies working locally in Afghanistan to support change for those at risk.
Currently, we support the following according to needs and circumstances:
- The Linda Norgrove Foundation, a charitable trust set up in memory of Scottish aid worker Linda Norgrove, who died while working to ensure that the people of Afghanistan would achieve prosperity and stability as their country was rebuilt. The Foundation’s primary goal is to help women and children affected by the war in Afghanistan.
- The Bakhtar Development Network, a local NGO which works at the national level across Afghanistan and has a specific focus on community based health services.
- Afghan Health and Development Services, a non-for-profit, non-governmental and non-political organization founded locally to provide humanitarian assistance and sustainable development for the Afghan people.
